We are Erla and Guðni, an Icelandic couple with a shared passion for adventure, innovation, and creating products that make a difference. One of us is a police officer, the other a firefighter, and together, we’ve built a life centered on family, resilience, and a deep connection to the outdoors.

We live in beautiful Iceland—a country where the rugged landscapes inspire everything we do. Our experiences as public servants and outdoor enthusiasts have shaped the heart and soul of Fenris.

How It All Began

The idea for Fenris came from our love of hunting and a desire to improve the gear we rely on. With over 15 years of hunting experience, Guðni has spent a lot of time exploring Iceland’s landscapes. Over the years, he’s encountered common challenges with gear that didn’t quite meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts.

Rather than settling for less, he set out to design products that are durable, functional, and built to enhance the hunting experience. What started as a personal mission has grown into a family-driven company dedicated to making outdoor adventures safer, easier, and more enjoyable for everyone.
